À propos de l'oeuvre
This picture was taken in 1900 on the beach of Blankenberge, Belgium. Even at the beginning of the 20th century, the Belgian coast attracted lots of tourists in summer. This image was originally shot in black and white, but a special technique called 'photochrom' was used to colorize this image and give it this exclusive and historic character.
